We have been providing new installations for Co-op for many years and have delivered numerous installations across the UK with stores as far afield as Orkney, Shetland and Skye.

For over 20 years we have been working alongside our client SW Builders as the preferred electrical contractor, delivering over 100 new stores and re-fits across Scotland and in Northern Ireland.

As the brand expands and the in-store technology advances, MD Electrical continue to provide the skills to meet the company’s requirements, currently handing over a new store every 3 to 4 weeks.

We have been working with Tim Hortons, delivering the electrical installations for their new stores as they roll out their brand in the UK.

The recent extension works to this prestigious south Glasgow hotel comprised 30 new bedrooms, 4 suites, a function room and a resident’s lounge bar complete with outdoor terrace. MD Electrical were the sole electrical contractor on this project providing services from 1^st fix, heating, fire and security alarms, through to the fine finishes currently being enjoyed by their residents and guests. As part of the installation we designed and installed a complete, bespoke RAKO intelligent lighting system with colour changing LED lighting throughout the function suites and bars creating a striking environment for the weddings and corporate events enjoyed at the hotel.

Since our inception we have been involved in the renovation of several Grade A, listed properties in this desirable conservation area, including multi-million pound developments at Lynedoch Terrace, Claremont Terrace, Woodside Terrace, Park Circus, Park Gardens and Newton Terrace.

These developments have been fitted out to the highest standard with our installations including Lutron and Rako intelligent lighting systems, data networks, whole-house media systems plus addressable fire alarms to ensure the requirements for safety are met.
